Better Block: East Point

White Way block in East Point, GA
April 22-23, 2022
Friday: 4PM-8PM
Saturday: 11AM - 3PM

Hello there! A week-long transformation is headed to the East Point, Georgia community in April 2022 along White Way, and we want to hear from you!
The goal is to re-envision and reimagine White Way in East Point in a 2-day, community-led placemaking event that will help residents and small business get creative with their public space. Using this survey to guide the design, some potential changes could include the arts, greenery and landscaping, shade, small business support, multi-modal transit options and opportunities for community gathering in what are now parking lots or parking spaces. This trial will help create a safe, welcoming neighborhood space for all ages and backgrounds and will incorporate the current resident's vision for White Way. Additionally, we hope to test some ideas and get feedback that will be incorporated into the long-term vision of White Way.
Together with you, The Better Block Foundation and Microsoft are working to bring your ideas to life and make East Point a more vibrant place to live, work, and gather as a community. Please fill out the survey below and share with anyone else you think may be interested. Your opinion matters and will directly shape the direction of the project! Survey closes February 2, 2021. Please reach out with any questions to Kristin Leiber at
