In partnership with Downtown Dallas, Inc., the Activate Main Street project temporarily transformed Main Street for 56 days by converting on-street parking into public space with a ground mural, parklets, outdoor seating, and community programming during Open Streets, the Pride Parade, and the FIFA World Cup period. Throughout the activation, survey questions rotated to understand how temporary street improvements influenced visitor experience, business activity, and public support for future investments on Main Street.
