Arlington, Texas, home of UTA, is pulling together its first Better Block inspired event called “Downtown Front and Center” on April 28th. From the website:
Downtown Front and Center is a joint venture between the School of Urban and Public Affairs and the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington. This event is a academic exercise with real value. The transformation of this under-utilized public space will bring life to downtown and expose people to the businesses, restaurants and institutions already thriving in the area. This event has the potential to spark more economic development while encouraging local citizens to make it happen.
