We are looking forward to August 24 and 25 when we will be joining our friends at 8 80 Cities in Toronto for Canada’s very first Vision Zero pop-up. We will be working to introduce people-oriented design elements aimed not only at providing leisure and recreation for the community, but also at making streets safer.
During the project, a section of Danforth Avenue will be sporting new bike lanes, a mural, traffic calming measures, public seating, and plenty of entertainment and things to do for people of all ages.
In this partnership, we hope to demonstrate how empowering communities to reshape their public spaces can open the door to new and viable solutions for safer streets for everyone.
