How to activate a vacant lot

While there are many ways to activate a vacant lot (including converting it to a public plaza), we converted a grassy space between buildings into an activity zone during the 2015 Akron Better Block, with ping pong, pop-up soccer games, yoga classes and tai chi. Here’s how.
