A couple weeks ago was Park(ing) Day, the one day where cities all over the country let people take over metered spots and imagine them for use beyond parking. Last year, we had an active space with trampolines and rocking chairs. This year, we wanted to create a respite in the side of the street. We developed this Green Hall, which allowed for people to walk through or sit down. Unfortunately, the rain in the middle of the day prohibited some of that from happening, but we still had fun.
