2019 Dallas Study Tour

The Better Block Foundation in partnership with Civic Commons Learning Network hosted a Learning Journey in Dallas that utilized a two-day study trip to immerse learning network members in the public life, policy, and culture of the city. Through explorations of the city by bike/scooter and conversations with small businessmen, local leaders, and city developers, we considered how Dallas is creating and sustaining public assets that deliver more value to citizens. On our final day in Dallas, we hosted a review session to distill learning from the participants representing Akron, Detroit, Memphis, and Philadelphia.
