WEST TRINITY HEIGHTS PARK SURVEY

Better Block installed new amenities at West Trinity Heights Park, including seating, games, and a little free library. This survey is to gain insight into park goers' experiences.

With the support from The Dallas Foundation as part of their 2025 Summer Grant Cycle, we utilized this gift to host a picnic in the park and added a few amenities to the West Trinity Heights Park, a 1.5 acre neighborhood park established in 1981 located in the neighborhood of Oak Cliff - Vermont Village. Think Wikiblock furniture like the Everybody Mercado Table, new lawn chairs and seating made from recycled wood, a Pup-lick Stick Library, soccer goals, and invited the local KIPP School and local vendors to pop-up during the event launch.

The Dallas Foundation is the first community foundation in Texas. The Dallas Foundation awarded 80 grants totaling $2,515,190 to nonprofit organizations across Dallas County working to strengthen families, promote economic stability, improve health outcomes, and provide support for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
